We have a couple people graduating from rehab and are in need of a bed (any size) and 2 twin beds or a bunk bed. We would love to be able to help them. Does anyone have beds to donate or reasonably priced? Pic for attention.

Exciting news! One of our Hope House girls was just approved for an apartment in Jackson county and she is moving out on her own! . She will need all of the basics. She lives on fixed income. The first need being a bed so she has somewhere to sleep.

She will be turning the utilities on Monday if she has enough money. She has clothes, food, and hygiene. But will need housing things such as furniture, dishes, bedding, etc.

I am going to tag Sarah Syner so she can follow up on this post with any questions on drop off /pick up in Jackson county for our Hope House grad. I will be in and out of service the next few days and want to make sure she gets the help she deserves! Thank you guys in advance for any help you can give!!

I have a second friend who is in need of any LR furniture, small couch, recliner and a Smart TV. She has taken in a couple of children and has not yet received help from the state and will soon be single. She lives in Kanawha county….any Kanawha county peeps able to help?? I will have her monitor the post so she can answer questions privately.

30 years ago today we said “I do”. I knew I had made the right choice for forever when you brought food to the church before the wedding. Beauty for Ashes: The Resurrection Tour was an amazing event!! Thank you Jennie Lawrence for the invite. You delivered the word beautifully today. Sometime I will have to share with you all the things that were major God winks for me today. When Jesus appeared to the disciples after his resurrection, and they didn’t know it was Him but said, didn’t our hearts burn within us? Today, my heart burned within!! Thank you to the entire Beauty for ashes team!!

Frontline recovery is at Kroger in Rioley today and is selling items. This is a FREE faith based rehab program. This is the women’s program there today. (I don’t have pictures of the graduates from there as it is fairly new) If you can support them, please do!!

We have placement for a beautiful lady who is in active addiction. BUT she has 2 small dogs that we need a foster for (Pomeranian and Pom-chi) for 9 months. We will pay for food for them. Is there anyone who can help or who knows of someone that may be able to? (Pic for attention)

They often admit folks from Jackson county and this is where Jerry Shamblin turned his life over to Jesus and made the change in his heart and life. Anyone else receiving phone calls that are just a series of beeps? It has been going on for two days now. I answer the phone and it just beeps. If I stay on there long enough, it eventually hangs up. I block the number and it happens again from a different number, all

Celebrate today rather than grieve tomorrow. That’s what you would have wanted, that’s what you would have insisted on and that’s what I’m making my best effort to do. I am Counting my blessings that I got to have you! One year ago today, I saw your face through the window at the hospital and you looked better. You sounded good. We joked about life and you being stubborn and not listening to me be your bossy nurse. We talked about you coming home in 2 days. We reminisced about camping trips and the kids high school years. We laughed a lot. You said you had been so scared and we cried because we were thankful it was over and you were coming home. I heard you tell me you loved me for the last time. It was precious and memorable and I’m so thankful the Lord gave me that. I’d be lying if I said we never disagreed. I’d also be lying if I said any of it mattered now.

Our girls trip last spring was full of laughter. We had been putting it off for a few years. We talked about it off and on. I can’t begin to say how thankful I am that we finally went. Such beautiful fun memories that we all have.

You’ve got a grand baby on the way. I can’t wait to tell her CICI stories and spoil her. I can’t wait to see all the ways you convince heaven to let us know you see her. I miss you beyond words but today, I celebrate because I was so blessed to have you to talk with, laugh with, camp with, raise kids with.….
